Bessie Coleman and 9 Other Black Pioneers in Aviation

I have heard of a few of these flyers, but they were only taught to me in school. I am surprised none of the other flyers were not taught as well. It shocked me that during those years there were black flyers. They already had to deal with opression. Bessie Coleman was black and a woman. She must have had a lot of backlash back then. She was one of the ones that was taught to us in history class. Eugene Bullard was the first African-American Military Combat Pilot. He also lived in Columbus Georgia which is also very intersting. He is very remarkable in that he was a fighter pilot. I see lots of movies about fighter pilots and i would never want to do that of course but it seems so interesting to see. Flying a plane is hard enough but flying a plane and also being at war is a whole new level.
